The Basics of Mindful Self-Compassion Workshop

Please join us on Sunday, April 12 from 4-6pm to learn how Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) can transform your life!

The Center for Mindful Living’s Self-Compassion teachers, Natalie Bell and Wendy Schmelzer are offering a two-hour workshop on the Basics of MSC. Self-Compassion is simply kindness directed inward and our MSC classes, through teaching, exercises and discussion, show us the positive impact of kindness and compassion when we need it most—when we fail, when we feel inadequate and are suffering. Too often we meet pain and challenges with harshness and criticism. Learn why offering ourselves the same compassion we would offer a dear friend leads is so effective for our well-being.

Learn a new, happier, healthier – and powerful -- way to both befriend yourself in times of difficulty and to savor the moments of joy in your life.

Our MSC Introductory Workshop will include:

  • The science behind self-compassion
  • How to stop being so hard on yourself
  • How to motivate yourself with encouragement
  • Self-Compassion Meditations to bring into your life right now

Location: The Center for Mindful Living

Cost: Sliding scale from $30 to $50 per person.
Please pay at the highest level of the sliding scale that you can afford.
This helps us make sure those who pay less can attend.
